Pretty Odd is the passion project of Columbus fashion designer Matthew Mannino. This fashion brand, inspired by streetwear and skate culture, creates styled clothes with a focus on fit, functionality, and comfort.
With unique brand extensions and artistic focuses, Pretty Odd is redefining what a brand can be. Our goal is to combine the fashion and music industries with unique designs and collaborations. No matter how, Pretty Odd encourages you to find your style and stand out.

this is a local small business and we love our community. We work with other talented young artists. Im picky about my fabrics, I only create clothes that I would wear. Everything is made with you, the customer in mind. I want my clothes

Why did this become the way we design?
I am a very active person
I’m a skateboarder, an athlete, an artist, a student, a kid, and I think that this is my audience too. A wide range of people that all share a love for the same values and characteristics. So I want to make fashionable pieces that allow all of them to express themselves during whatever it is they do, while not sacrificing on comfort or fit.

Pretty Odd’s Mission: It’s our mission to create comfortable, unique clothes that allow you to express yourself. It’s my goal to create clothes with natural and recycled fabrics when possible, and stay away from harmful polyesters and chemical washes. Pretty Odd is committed to holding a higher standard on the quality of garments. Everything is designed with functionality and comfort of the wearer in mind.

Who’s behind it all?
My name is Matthew Mannino. I am the creator of Pretty Odd Clothing. Currently, I’m a Junior at The Ohio State University studying Fashion Retail Studies.
Pretty Odd and this website kind of serves as a portfolio of everything I’ve done and my progress as a designer and creator.

My design philosophy
I like to design clothes for people to love and care about them. I want people to love their clothes as much as I do.
What inspires my design proces/philosophy?
I am a very active person. Growing up, I alwasy struggled to buy clothes that fit me well, let alone what it looked like. I was a rowdy kid in a lot of sports so I went through a lot of clothes. As I’ve begun to learn more about sustainable fashion and improved my sewing skills, I became really interested in making stylish activewear that is practical. Inspired by other companies like Umbro, Yeezy, and JNCO, I attempt to balance silhouette with style while incorporating sewing techniques to make functional fashion.
